The Blount County Accounting & Budgeting Department is responsible for maintaining the system of fiscal procedure, control and centralized accounting for all County Departments, including Blount County Schools and Highway Department.

Responsibilities include:

• Budgeting in compliance with County Budgeting Law of 1957 with Local Option Law of 1993.
• Payroll
• Accounts Payable
• Accounts Receivable
• Month end & Year end Reporting
• Audit
• Debt Management
