Multiple practices may be used to stabilize eroding stream channels. The District can recommend a variety of native plants that can help secure eroding stream banks or if the damage is too severe for vegetative controls alone, a series of jetties, v-weirs, or armoring with rip-rap (as shown) may be recommended.
