A six foot (6') Truax No-Till Drill has been obtained by the Blount County SCD courtesy of the Tennessee Department of Agriculture, the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS), and the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA). 

This drill is capable of seeding native warm-season grasses such as Switchgrass, Big Bluestem, and Indian Grass. It may also be used to seed cool season perennials such as Fescue and Orchard Grass, small grains like Wheat and Rye, and Red and White Clovers.
