March Exhibits

EXHIBITS & COLLECTIONS:

March 1 to 31:

  • “Blount County Arts and Crafts Guild Member Art” Exhibit, coordinated by Sandy Miller, will be on easels in the Main Gallery and in vertical case at the nook of the wall at the end of the Patron Services Circulation Check-in Desk.
  • “Knoxville Watercolor Society” Art Exhibit, coordinated by Emilia Pickett on the Art Wall at the Bookmark Café.
  • “Patrick Hicks Art” Exhibit, by artist Patrick Hicks, will be in two Mid-Gallery cases in the Main Gallery of the library.
  • “Painted Eggs” Exhibit, will be in the vertical case near Audio Visual (AV) area.
  • “Hummingbird” Exhibit, by Adult Services Reference Department, located in the display case near the Temporary Books Shelves. Uncover the secrets of the Reference Collection.
  •  “Beneficial Insects” Exhibit, by Linda Marcus, located in the wooden Genealogy display case in the Main Gallery near the Audio Visual (AV) area.
  •  “You Don’t Need the Luck of the Irish to Find a Good Book Here” Exhibit, by Patron Services, will be located in the Main Gallery between the two Patron Services Circulation Desks.
  • “World War I: Lessons and Legacies” Exhibit, organized by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service and the National Museum of American History, with funding from The United States World War I Centennial Commission and the Smithsonian Women’s Committee; will be located in the Reading Rotunda.
