Blount County Probation provides effective supervision to all misdemeanor probationers ordered to supervised probation through the Blount County General Sessions Courts. Our Probation Officers hold the probationers accountable by making sure the individuals complete all requirements of supervised probation. 

Supervision of a Client while they are awaiting a Trial for the offense in which they were charged.

Adult Driving School

DDC-4- 4 HOUR DEFENSIVE DRIVING COURSE. 

• Driving School Classes are held approximately four times per month
• Classes are held on Thursday evenings, Friday Mornings, and Saturday mornings
• Please go to the Probation homepage for schedules of classes. 
• Class fees are $75.00 

A 12 hour class taught at our facility for DUI Offenders (Taught by Knox County Sheriff’s Office).

Times

We offer DUI School on the 3rd Saturday every other Month (January, March, May, July, September, November).

A 24 week program offered to Domestic Violence Offenders in order to help them learn what has attributed to Domestic Violence in their life and how they can correct future behaviors. (In Partnership with Haven House).

We coordinate Community Service work for individuals that are court-ordered to complete Community Service Hours. We place the individuals with an non-profit organization or government office and provide them with Community Service log sheets to track their completed hours. Once their Community Service hours are completed they turn their completed log sheet into our office. Our office then verifies that the individual did complete all court-ordered hours and provide verification paperwork back to the court.
