Nine board members serve 4-year term. Four members appointed by the Blount County Legislative Body, two appointed by each of the City Councils of Maryville and Alcoa, and one unanimously agreed upon by all locally appointed Board Members. At least one of the appointees from each agency will be the Chief Law Enforcement Officer of that governmental agency or that person's designee.
